2 Ways Concealed Carry Makes Communities Safer

Communities are more safe when responsible and trained citizens carry concealed. Concealed carry permits and guns sales are both on the rise, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation has reported processing record numbers of background checks. All signs point to higher rates of concealed carry every month.

1. Criminals Must Now Consider that Anyone Could be Armed.
Communities are safer because criminals don’t know who is carrying concealed. Men and women, no matter the skin color or wealth status, are armed for self-defense.

Concealed handguns are in bags, backpacks, and purses. They’re on the waists of people of all shapes and sizes. The handguns are both large and compact, with ammunition that’s designed to stop an attacker in his tracks.

All across the country, criminals must first make peace with the fact that someone they’re about to assault or rob could be packing firepower, and they know how to use it.

2. Businesses Large and Small are Guarded, No Matter What
When citizens carry concealed, all places are guarded. Small mom-n-pop businesses are just as deserving of armed self-defense as the largest bank. Running a small business takes serious work and dedication, and owners that carry concealed won’t be pushed around.

Armed protection isn’t just for the big businesses that can afford it. Everyone deserves the ability to stand up for what’s theirs, and defend it with lethal force if they must.

Concealed carry means that common criminals know that each and every attack they wage on an innocent person carries with it the risk that a person armed for self-defense is nearby.

With regular practice, certified training, and a calm mentality, armed self-defense is keeping our communities safe.
