Springfield Armory EMP 4-inch Carry Contour
Springfield Armory brought out the new EMP for SHOT Show. It’s based on the EMP the company first introduced in 2007. It tries to solve the problem of making a 9mm work like a 1911. The Enhanced Micro Pistl (EMP) is the answer. It’s shorter than a 1911 and is designed to accommodate a 9mm rather than a 1911 magazine. $1,220

Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Armory Kote
In yet another SHOT Show debut, Springfield Armory introduced the EMP Armory Black Kote and the 1911 TRP Armory Kote. The 1911 TRP is gray finish and is chambered in a .45 ACP round. $1,730.
The EMP Black is a 9mm forged steel in all black with wood grips. $1,100
