Why We Carry

Why do you carry concealed? We all have our own reasons, but it’s the ones we share that make us a community. Let’s let the world know that armed self-defense is not only honorable, it’s necessary for maintaining our way of life.

We’re carrying on the proud traditions of our families.
Few traditions stand the test of time like an admiration for firearms. When a person you look up to takes the time to show you how to use and handle a firearm, you’re learning a lesson that will last a lifetime.

We were taught by prior generations that there are few things more important than standing up for yourself and the ones you love. Just like them, we teach our children to respect the undeniable power that guns possess.

A fear of guns only leads to misunderstandings. In our families we don’t fear them, but give them the respect they deserve. There are few better gifts to give than the knowledge of how to safely handle a firearm.

We’re actually making use of the freedoms we’ve been granted.
The Second Amendment was created for our protection, whether the threat comes in the form of a government or an attacker. To ignore that right is a mistake that could have deadly consequences.

Staying informed on current legislation and being involved in political debate is just the beginning of the numerous responsibilities for those who carry concealed.

We know our rights, read the news, and let law makers know when we think they aren’t working in our best interest. That’s much more than most average people.

We’re taking on the responsibility to protect ourselves and others from criminals.
Nothing can protect people faster and more efficiently than a gun in the hands of a trained, responsible individual. We appreciate the hard work of our local law enforcement, but we’re also not afraid to take our safety into our own hands.

Carrying concealed isn’t about hiding behind a gun, it’s about standing up for what’s right. Obviously, criminals who steal and kill don’t have any care for laws or the well-being of people. We know that if we don’t carry for self-defense, we’re giving bad people permission to carry out their crimes.

Concealed carry may be just as natural to you as breathing, but you’d never take it for granted. Know why you carry and the responsibility it requires.
