For years, customers have asked Elite Survival Systems to build a backpack at a lower price point. The average cost of a backpack from the company in 2016 was more than $140 MSRP. This year, Elite Survival Systems is releasing a new suite of packs, and the Echo – at $79.95 retail – is certainly priced “to move.” In designing the Echo, the company sought to bridge the divide between a civilian and tactical pack in a few subtle ways, and created a pack that is well-suited for everyday use. The pack incorporates lighter-weight materials, a PALS/MOLLE webbing field located in the top of the main compartment, and features an ambidextrous concealment section with adjustable holster. Echo is available in black, indigo, and Trifecta (a combination of black, OD, and wolf gray).
