The cool thing, well, one cool thing among many about SHOT Show, is that it is not open to the general public. It is the largest trade show of its kind in the world and you must be either a media member, retailer, wholesaler, or manufacturer in order to get access. Many new products are released there, but the general public only sees them when they reach the retailer’s shelves during the course of the year.
The advertisement that I heard while there said it was the equivalent of 13 acres of exhibits. So yeah, even if you really tried, you would not be able to see everything if you just have one week there. We had only two days, and not even two full days. Still, we found some cool new stuff. We met women who are training women for concealed carry around the country. We found new holsters, new accessories and new guns. Here’s some of the new concealed carry gear from SHOT Show 2017.

Full Conceal Glock 17 Conversion Kit
This kit sold by Full Conceal lets you transform your Glock 17 into a pocket-size model with a high-capacity magazine. You can purchase the kit, which reduces the overall height of a gun, or you can purchase the company’s lower receiver that fits all Glock factory parts. Other products have a folding trigger that allows the magazine to store vertically into the pistol grip. When the M2 is kitted out, it’s about the size and shape of a cell phone in the pocket.

This gun is lightweight and hammer fired. Designed in collaboration with Ernest Langdon, the gun was designed to be lightweight with custom features for a robust concealed carry gun. It offers a full grip (for most shooters), and a 16 round capacity, an Accessory rail and a low-profile slide stop.
